Four senior staff members from PricewaterhouseCoopers spoke to a crowd of final year Accountancy students from the Anglia Ruskin University programme on career prospects in Accountancy. They explained the job functions in Assurance and Taxation, the required attributes to be part of a performance based culture and the importance of sharing and coaching one another.

Mr Lee, the firm’s Executive Director, stressed on the importance of being skilled in information systems because of the cutting edge technology being used in many multinational companies which are the major clients of PwC. One of our former students who is now an executive with PwC, encouraged the current students to enter into public practice because of the extensive training provided, the coaching from seniors and the exposure gained from dealing with various clients.

The talk concluded with a Q & A session where the PwC team fielded various questions from the floor.
